How to work out the per gram price of jewellery

To calculate the per gram price of gold jewelry, divide the price of the piece by the weight of the gold (in grams) in the piece. For example, if a piece of jewelry costs £1000 and it is 20 grams of gold, the per gram price would be £50 (1000 / 20 = 50).

If a piece of jewelry costs £500 and it is 10 grams of gold, the per gram price would be $50 (£500 / 10 = £50).

If a piece of jewelry costs £3000 and it is 40 grams of gold, the per gram price would be $75 (£3000 / 40 = £75).

If a piece of jewelry costs $2000 and it is 30 grams of gold, the per gram price would be £66.67 (£2000 / 30 = £66.67).

Please keep in mind that these examples are not considering the labor costs and others that can raise the price of the jewelry, the final selling price is based on many factors.
